The city of Zurich is culturally rich and is home to more than one hundred prestigious galleries, over fifty museums including the Swiss National Museum, symphony orchestras, ballet theatres and opera houses. The city is also renowned for its fine dining and gastronomic delights.
The Zurich Film Festival is a popular event and is one of the upcoming international film festivals. Zurich also offers the hottest nightlife entertainment in Switzerland. Zurich International Airport is situated a little over six miles from the city centre and benefits from its own railway station.
